Science Watch recently published a ranked list of the world's top hundred materials scientists, and Prof. Hsuan-Yi (Michael) of the Dept. of Chemistry, NTHU was ranked at the third place in this prestigious ranking, making him the best performing scientist in this field in Asia.He is also on THE 2016 LIST OF MOST CITED RESEARCHERS IN MATERIALS SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING BY ELSEVIER SCOPUS DATA.

Research Focus


 

We focus on synthesis of nanoparticles with systematic shape evolution enables the examination of their facet-dependent properties, such as their photocatalytic activity, catalytic activity, electrical conductivity, and molecular adsorption property.
